What is the Cycle Loop?
The Cycle Loop is a project for the rural development founded by Eje Leader, whose last aim is to encourage the tourism of the Central Mountain region (Montaña Central) through the start-up of sport and leisure activities.

The initiative involves the creation of a 165 kilometres long perimeter itinerary, whose route passes through the six councils of the region: Aller, Lena, Mieres, Morcín, Ribera de Arriba and Riosa.

The itinerary of the Cycle Loop has been recognised by the Federation of Mountain, Rock Climbing and Hiking Sports of the Principado de Asturias, under the name GR-208. It is thought to be a space made for practicing MTB, as well as hiking. It is divided into a total of eight stages with a tough itinerary which is perfectly identified. It has also got several welcoming points which provide supplementary services for the sports practice.
